Now the couple had fed,
On Carrots, Wine, and Bread.
And now that the feasting was done;
With the Hare by his tide,
He took his new bride,
And together rode into the sun.
As the pair rode away,
The guests shouted “HOORAY”,
Then it suddenly started to rain.
As they rode out of sight,
Not knowing their plight,
The couple were never seen again.
